Almada with Baseform now also for wastewater.

A client on the water supply side since 2021, SMAS Almada now extends their Baseform deployment to full coverage on wastewater as well.

Stretching along the Atlantic coastline and the Tagus River estuary, Almada offers much more than the best views over Lisbon and the landmark 25 de Abril bridge. SMAS de Almada, its water and wastewater utility, is recognized by its clients and the industry for the quality of its service and advanced asset management programs.

In 2021, SMAS selected Baseform to support their ambitious objectives of managing water losses and enhancing asset management of the water distribution network. SMAS are now broadening that application of Baseform to include the full extent of their wastewater system, focusing on four critical areas: infiltration and inflow management, optimization of CCTV inspection campaigns, sewer pipes failure prediction and replacement planning.  This will also equip SMAS with the ability to jointly plan for both water and wastewater systems, an advanced goal uniquely enabled by Baseform.
