B-Watersmart points to reuse and increase efficiency of water.

Baseform continues to explore the way forward in water, following our DNA in research and staying close to the R&D community.

Our R&D team was part of the B-watersmart project, a recently concluded, EU-funded effort interconnecting six coastal European cities and regions, involving 35 partners from 8 countries. The project was considerably successful in exploring pathways to reducing the use of freshwater resources, improving the recovery and reuse of resources, and increasing water use efficiency. Baseform developed new expert tools to deal with water reuse in the urban environment, namely the joint management in time and space of potable and non-potable water sources for a diversity of purposes in the city. The project tested and successfully demonstrated their usage, creating viable use and business cases to be explored subsequently.
