Baseform launches new AWWA Water Audit-compatible WB reporting.

Baseform includes a Water Balance tool that allows for manual or automated input of the individual component breakdown of what is between water input into the network and water either sold or lost – revenue and non-revenue water, to be precise. The tool is a reflection of the formal methodology promoted by IWA and AWWA, among others, to report, measure, and analyze water losses. AWWA maintains a freely available Excel sheet to keep track of those quantities, the AWWA water audit tool, used by a large number of utilities across the USA as the reporting format of choice – or in some places, mandatory. Today we are launching an update to our Water Balance software that allows for importing and exporting directly to AWWA water audit Excel files. Our clients can now have the best of both worlds — use automated Baseform calculations for continuously available Component Analysis – and a for-real online tool, with the compatibility of the official AWWA format. They can also just import all their previous reports into Baseform and have the interactive data online.
