Spearheading R&D in the use of reclaimed water for urban non-potable purposes with the B-WaterSmart EU project.

We were born from R&D and being close to the leading edge of knowledge in water continues to be a key driving force in our vision and DNA. Sponsored by the EU's Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme the B-WaterSmart project's aim is to accelerate the transformation to water-smart economies and societies by reducing the use of freshwater resources improving the recovery and reuse of resources and increase water use efficiency.

As the project's 3rd year general meeting taking place in Alicante (Spain) this week new results become available. The project centers around six interconnected Living Labs in coastal European regions involving 35 European partners. Baseform is one of them researching and developing new methods and software to support the use of reclaimed water for urban non-potable uses.
