Baseform’s deployment for EMAS Beja was returning results very fast, thanks to the utility’s forward-thinking team and to Baseform’s Data Sync technology. EMAS has deployed Baseform to unify data flowing from their GIS, SCADA, billing, and AMI systems. The setup now brings together data from five distinct AMI vendors and eleven different meter models, operating over both LoRa and NB‑IoT networks. Using Baseform’s Data Sync technology, all these heterogeneous data streams are aligned with SCADA and made available for real‑time DMA management. This approach provides EMAS with a consistent, extensible data layer — making it straightforward to integrate new AMI technologies in just a few days, while maintaining full interoperability across systems.
