Most are calibrated periodically, then left to drift — the network changes, demand shifts, new connections are added, and the model quietly loses touch with reality. Operations teams and planners working from a stale model are effectively navigating with an outdated map. Baseform generates and maintains a continuously updated hydraulic model of the system, fed automatically from GIS, SCADA, billing and AMI data through its proprietary Data Sync technology.
