Pipe failure prediction research presented at CA-NV AWWA 2019 Annual Spring Conference

Today, our team presented new software capabilities at the American Water Works Association's Spring Conference in Sacramento, California.

Results of the outstanding capabilities of our Failure Analysis software for use by water utilities were presented at the American Water Works Association's CA-NV AWWA 2019 Annual Spring Conference in Sacramento, California.

Session participants in this session were shown how to use software to perform continuously updated failure prediction analysis on entire water or wastewater networks, using the utility’s own GIS data and failure records such as kept in work orders, CMMS, spreadsheets or other media.

The session also highlighted the benefits of having this capability available for the utility's own use as new data is acquired through everyday O&M activities and automatically factored in. The software is designed to make it viable for the utility to use it internally without depending on external know-how. Usage of pipe failure prediction in both O&M mission critical contexts and medium- to long-term planning tasks were highlighted and discussed.
