Almada awards 3-year, full coverage contract to Baseform

Earlier this year, the city in the Lisbon Metro Area selected Baseform's software for its infrastructure asset management programme.

The city supplies a 175,000 population through approximately 900km of network, and has long pursued a progressive water management vision, including an ISO 55000 asset management certification, not to mention one of the first implemented hydraulic models in the country, back in the 1980s.

SMAS Almada has selected Baseform to support their ambitious infrastructure asset management strategy. With a view to ensuring the sustainability, efficiency and continued improvement of Almada's service delivery to customers, Baseform will be deployed to focus on four key drivers: network event management, pipe replacement planning, continuously updated hydraulic model generation, and customer meter management and replacement planning.
