Our prolific collaboration with Instituto Superior Técnico's Dept. of Applied Maths and Computation (Lisbon Uni.) has produced yet another significant advance in predictive analytics.

Carolina Constantino defended her MSc with honours, with a dissertation exploring the performance of Gradient Boosting Decision Trees, as compared to Baseform's currently implemented methods, in predicting if a pipe will fail in a given period of time, as well as the number of failures for a pipe in a given period of time.

Congratulations to Carolina on a very successful project that opens up new avenues in this topic.
