Portugal - Water Engineer
We’re looking for a new team member to join our engineering and customer success management team at the Lisbon headquarters.
Baseform makes software for the water industry, used by cities providing water services to over 25 million people in USA, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Brazil, and other countries. Baseform’s SaaS implements 100% remotely and is used by the water utilities themselves. We have an established product and your work will reach people in several continents every day. We’re headquartered in Lisbon, with subsidiaries in USA, Brazil and Spain, and significant distribution partners covering USA, Western Europe and LatAm.
Our team includes not only the best software roster on the planet, but also deep-domain knowledge through our world-class water engineers and data scientists, and a very sharp sales team.
We’re looking for recent graduates who are passionate about water engineering, problem-solving and next-generation tools and about becoming part of a product that reaches real people globally, and is on its way to reaching many more.
We value curiosity, initiative and thoughtful action - people who thrive on learning, take ownership of their work and love exploring our own technology to push boundaries together as a team.
Overview of position
We are looking for English‑speaking (ideally native or very proficient) engineers with a solid background in civil engineering hydraulics or urban water engineering, and a strong grasp of pressure flow, open‑channel flow and urban water system hydraulics. Experience with hydraulic modelling packages, GIS or data analysis will be valued, as will curiosity, rigor and a genuine interest in improving how cities manage their water systems.
