«We no longer need to rely on theoretical service lives»

How to use your own data to optimize CIP and expansions.

Planning how best to use a CIP budget for optimal return – i.e., minimize the number of service interruptions, maximize service life, avoid spill risk, adjust capacity – seems too much of a critical task to be left to chance, to hunches or to haste. Using theoretical deterioration curves per material is all very good when there is no alternative, but our experience with hundreds of thousands of miles of pipework currently in our databases shows that pipes/sewers of the same material behave differently given a number of factors, sometimes inside the same utility.

Using the utility's own failure data contained in work orders, water loss detection surveys or sewer inspections brings it all down to facts and fact-based decisions.

Staff perceptions are invaluable, but often influenced by the more recent observations. However, they are massively empowered by failure or condition prediction analytics.

Results from our clients are there to prove it:

When what is at stake is your hard-earned investment opportunity, and the service delivered thereafter, isn't it worth at least knowing what the facts are saying?
